This Is What Ten Hag 'Control Madness' Will Do First at MU
Erik ten Hag took charge of Manchester United as manager this summer. He holds the baton with the mission of resurrecting Manchester United, which managers such as David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Ralf Rangnick failed to achieve previously.
Ten Hag's work has practically started when Manchester United decided to release a number of players, including Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, to Nemanja Matic. But behind the scenes, he is believed to have been doing other things.
Ten Hag's former team at Ajax, Daley Blind, said the mental aspect must be the first focus. He predicts Ten Hag who likes to be in control will build an atmosphere of togetherness within the club, so that everyone feels involved in the mission of winning.
"He is a very social person. I think, at Ajax too, he knows that everyone at the club is important. Everyone needs to be involved to get that winning feeling, that winning mentality," said Daley Blind on MU's official website.
"Everyone needs to be going in the same direction. He knows that and wants to keep everyone close. He's also a control freak and wants to be on top of everything. I think that's a special quality you need to be such a good person."
"I think he's a brilliant coach. A manager who likes to play attacking football, which is the hallmark of Manchester."
