European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided information regarding Manchester United's hunt for Evanilson. He made sure the FC Porto striker was not included in the Red Devils transfer plan.
Manchester United is known to be buying a new striker this summer. They need a replacement from Darwin Nunez who was cornered by Liverpool.
Earlier this week, news circulated that United made an offer for Evanilson, who is currently defending FC Porto.
Romano claims that the news is not true. He said Manchester United were not trying to sign the striker.

Not Target
Romano's report states that Evanilson is not a player Manchester United is targeting.
Erik Ten Hag did not include him in the MU shopping list. Because he is less comfortable with the striker.
So there was no offer that Manchester United made to FC Porto for the striker.
Other Goals
Romano confirmed that United were looking for a new striker. But Evanilson was not in their target.
The Red Devils are claimed to be in communication with Ajax Amsterdam. The manager wants to sign the Brazilian this summer.
But Romano said that Manchester United had not made an offer for the winger. They are still discussing this transfer in their internal team.
Other Options
Apart from Antony, Manchester United also has a new striker option this summer.
They are interested in signing Derby County's young striker, Malcolm Ebiowei.
