Christian Eriksen is on a free transfer after his contract at Brentford expired. Eriksen is a bone of contention for clubs in the Premier League.
Manchester United are reportedly involved in the hunt for the Danish player. The Red Devils are again empty in their midfield, after being left behind by Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, and Nemanja Matic.

Gary Pallister, a Manchester United defender in the 1990s said that Christian Eriksen was still able to compete in the Premier League. Last season since joining Brentford in the winter, Eriksen has still shown his class.
"He's still a fantastic player. After all the problems he's been through, it's great to see him playing football again and competing again in the Premier League," he said, as quoted by the Mirror.

Gary Pallister said, Christian Eriksen was considered suitable for Manchester United. MU can bring him for free and a duet with Bruno Fernandes in midfield.
"I think Eriksen's style of play is similar to Bruno Fernandes. I don't know if you can put both players in the same team, but I think it would be a good combination," he said.
"There is no doubt about Eriksen's quality. When else, MU can sign top players for free," he concluded.
