Manchester United fans will today discover who their side will be playing when the Premier League fixtures are announced for the 2022/23 campaign.

Erik ten Hag will no doubt be keeping a close eye on his phone this morning as the Premier League releases the fixture lists at 9am. United started last season in style by beating Leeds 5-1 at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Of course, today's fixture list will look very different to any other previous schedule due to the 2022 Qatar World Cup. There will be a break in November before the season restarts on Boxing Day, and so United's season will end slightly later than usual.

United's first match of the new campaign will be on the weekend of Saturday, August 6. Before then, fans will be hoping for some new signings.

United are still working on a deal to bring Frenkie de Jong to Old Trafford. Reports in Spain have suggested that United have entered 'final negotiations' with Barcelona over the deal.
