Pendiri Dayah Insan Qurani sekaligus guru bagi para penghafal Al Quran atau hafid dan hafidzah di Aceh Ustadz Amin Chuzaini dikabarkan meninggal dunia, Minggu (27/9/2020).

Pimpinan Dayah Insan Qurani Aceh Besar Ustadz Muzakkir mengatakan almarhum mengembuskan nafas terakhir di RSUD Zainoel Abidin sekitar pukul 06.35 WIB di usia 59 tahun.
“Pimpinan dayah beserta seluruh keluarga besar Dayah Insan Qurani berduka atas meninggal almarhum, guru yang sangat berjasa,” kata Muzakkir, di Aceh Besar.
Sebelum meninggal dunia, Ustadz Amin sempat menjalani perawatan di medis di RSUD Zainoel Abidin selama beberapa hari. Proses pemakaman dilakukan seperti jenazah lain biasanya, mengingat bukan pasien COVID-19.
Menurut dia, Ustadz Amin semasa hidupnya dikenal sebagai sosok yang santun serta punya kapasitas yang mumpuni dalam mengembangkan lembaga tahfiz Al Quran
Kata Muzakkir, Ustadz Amin berasal dari Jombang, Jawa Timur, namun rela meninggalkan kampung halamannya untuk mengabdi di daerah Serambi Mekkah tersebut.

“Beliau merantau ke Aceh, menebarkan ilmu Al Quran dan merintis beberapa lembaga tahfiz. Ini merupakan kabar duka bagi kita semua. Kita kehilangan seorang sosok panutan yang peduli terhadap pendidikan serta pengembangan tahfiz Alquran di Aceh. Almarhum adalah gurunya para hafidh dan hafidzah di Aceh,” katanya.
Semoga Allah menempatkan almarhum di surga-Nya bersama dengan para syuhada dan shalihin. Mohon maaf apabila ada salah dan silap beliau, mohon doanya, katanya lagi.

Kemudian, beliau juga pendiri dan pimpinan tiga dayah di Aceh seperti Insan Qurani Aceh Besar, Sidiq Leupung, IQ Nurussalam Aceh Timur.
